The 2010 Botball PVC Cut List has been posted to the newly opened 2010 Team Home Base. More 2010 Botball information and resources will follow shortly.
Thanks Logan! Looking forward to seeing the new game! (I notice that the game boards seem to be getting perpetually larger... 2 4ft by 4ft sections in 2007 and prior, then 4 in 2008-2009, now 5 in 2010... I think I like this trend!)

Cut list does not say what size or schedule the PVC pipe is. I'm guessing it's sche 40, 1" pipe. looking at some of the dimensions gives a clue to something that is 1.5 inches OD. We have used this size before for Botball. Also, whats the Home Depot number for the fiberglass panels with the pebbly surface or is it foam board? A good BOM should include part numbers, if its is all from Home Depot.
The cut list mentions "4 x 4 MDF". MDF stands for Medium Density Fiberboard. I found ClosetMaid SKU 174278 (Home Depot) as being the closest to this material for the base board of the game table. Its 1/4 inch thick with a white surface. Is this the correct stuff?
Looks like I answered my own questions. On page 2 of 9 of the Botball table drawing in the comments box is the PVC size. "All PVC is 1 inch schedule 40". The whole team missed that one! The black foam board must be the island (8 by 30 inches).
You are correct about the PVC. The black foam board is the island. The part number for the pebbly FRP (fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) is on the back of the sample included in your game piece set. The Home Depot SKU is: 121586, it comes in 4' x 8' sheets. The MDF comes in 4' x 8' sheets (you can substitute plywood) and is only used to support the FRP at the tournaments.
If you are setting your game board on the floor, or completely supporting it with something else, like tables, then you probably have no need for the MDF.
