Our team is starting to buy parts to put together a practice table for 2011. On the parts list posted on the home base, there are two parts that we could not find at either our local Lowes or Home Depot:

2 x PVC 1.5in to 1.25in reducer
- these simply weren't available at any of the home improvement / hardware stores we've looked. Has anyone else had any luck finding them? Will we have to get them online? FlexPVC.com has them but the shipping is outrageous in proportion to the cost of the parts...

Half round 0.625in wide 38in long
- Lowes did not have this. We then checked Home Depot, where a worker told us that half-round molding does not exist, and that quarter-round is all anyone would carry. I do not know if that is correct or not. Does anyone have any advice on obtaining this?

Being in the DC region, we haven't had our workshop and therefore can't access a FAQ on the home base; we are just trying to get a jump start on putting the table together. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you building the KIPR Open table, or the Botball table?

The PVC reducer 1.5" to 1.25" is only used in the KIPR Open. For Botball you need a 1.5" to 1" reducer.

We did check to make sure that the PVC was available in all regions before finalizing the table parts. In DC our regional coordinator was able to get the PVC reducer at home depot.

If the half round trim is not available, two quarter rounds can be substituted.

Thanks for the quick reply. We're building the Botball Table. As of last Saturday, the parts list had the 1.5 to 1.25 in reducer, but it must have just been a mistake. It's correct now, thanks for the updated version.

The parts list was posted about a week ago and it looks like all the game documents were posted today.
