YAC 2010 Application
As eagerly awaited, here is the Youth Advisory Council's 2010 Application!
Each applicant must have participated in Botball for at least 2 years. Also, each candidate may not be older than a senior in college, anybody older is encouraged to join Beyond Botball however. Each candidate's application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation by either a team mentor, teacher, or parent/guardian, and the application must be emailed to botballyac@gmail.com by whomever the letter of recommendation is written.
All applications will be read blindly to ensure fairness, and will be judged by all current YAC members. Also, for current YAC members, you must also complete an application including a list of what you have accomplished as a memeber of the Inaugural Youth Advisory Council.
We hope to have all regions adequately represented in the YAC in the 2009-2010 term, and encourage members of all regions, especially in the US, to apply!
Luckily, the YAC Application Deadline has been extended to Friday, October 2, 2009!

This forum topic once stated the YAC applicants had to be entering as freshman. This was a typo and is not the case. Sorry for the mix up! It has been corrected. Please send your applications to the e-mail stated above! Good luck.

Hey Botballers!
Do you want to be part of making a better Botball?! Do you want to help improve the regional competitions and GCER? Are you between a freshman in high school and a senior in college?
If you answered Yes, you should consider applying to the Youth Advisory Council (YAC). YAC is responsible for making Botball more participant friendly, and making the changes students want to see!
