I was passed this information via the DARPA ARM Program. Looks like some Botballers may be interested, so I'm posting it here. Note that this post does not constitute an endorsement by KIPR or YAC.

While we do not have any formal, structured competition put in place for our Outreach Track, we have our full simulator of the two-armed humanoid manipulator robot available for download by the public. Students can visit http://www.theARMrobot.com and download the simulator under the "Participate" tab. There are some tutorials available to allow users to become familiarized with the ARM sensors and hardware and the robot operating system (ROS). They can code the robot using a language such as C++ to enable the simulated robot to autonomously perform grasping and manipulation tasks. Participants can get creative and come up with their own tasks they'd like to perform with the ARM robot. Later, if they have working code, they can schedule to run their code on the actual robot and watch via a live web stream.
To follow along with the ARM program's funded research teams and other new developments in the program, students can "Like" the ARM Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/theARMrobot .

How can you pass the information through this DARPA ARM Program? I didn’t get any idea about it. If you share the details on the site it would be better and I can also perform the same task and can share the information with my friends also. Pay Per Click Internet Marketing
