Out of boredom and love of minecraft, I have started a unofficial official GCER minecraft server. Will be running 24/7 throughout GCER and probably a bit afterwards. It also has a teamspeak server.

I will definitely check out that minecraft sever. I literally spend 24/7 playing mc. Cool and a good idea!

This was from 2 years ago during GCER. I doubt it was kept running for more than a week or two.

I noticed that.. but I was hoping they would put it back up because I literally spend half of my time in a dark room, alone, with a bright computer screen, playing minecraft.

Sadly...

My computer science club is going to be bringing up a minecraft server and eventually a network next semester as a club project/fundraiser.

I remember back when we did this, it was two years ago and I was friends with acetech09, we were on the same team. It seemed like a good idea, but our robots weren't completely finished, and it became impossible to play on the GCER minecraft server because we were constantly at work. It definitely would've been cool if we had more free time, though. If the project is restarted, it'll probably be impossible to keep it going, because everyone will be busy. Maybe hosting a server after GCER would be cool, or having an official Botball server to play on year-round. It's a good idea.
