Hi everyone. I have been messing around with the camera a bit and I am trying to get a robot to find a blob larger than a certain size so that I dont detect the little dots of color that are detected, however I don't know how I can do this. I assume you have to use the "get_object_area" function however I don't know what would be the ideal size for taking up about half of the screen from one foot away. Does anyone have any idea on how to use this?

Thanks in advance!

It might be a little late in the game to be responding to this, but the best way to do that would probably be to create a simple program that prints the returned value from "get_object_area" in a loop with some break like an on screen button, or a touch sensor if you have one on your robot. Set up your bot and your object as you described, run the program, and then record your value. Then set your filter value a ways under that to make sure you filter out small things, but will not filter out your object if you happen to be farther away.

Please do not get worried about the problem. This is nothing, it just need some easy steps which you will find online.
