Hello,

Our parts list indicates a limit of 1 camera. Is this correct, since we were given 2 cameras with our kit?

The parts list in incorrect. You get 2 cameras. If you look on the FAQ, KIPR confirms this.

I agree! That would be very helpful with more complex robots. It would be a challenge to program, however it would not be impossible!

@ YuSheng. Chen: I agree we should be able to have multiple cams

The camera can only handle 4 HSV channels so the maximum amount of cameras could probably only reach a certain amount. Besides, the amount of processors in the LINK might not be enough to handle all the inputs.

Yes I agree with YuSheng more than two cameras could help a lot but that's part of the challenge. Also I second the idea that the link would probably not even have the processing power to use all that data and it would crash very easily.

If you are doing very intensive tasks(CPU and memory) then you would risk hitting your limit. When I was working last year with image recognition I added a gb of swap from the hard drive to ensure I was safe on memory(I also didn't want to do null checks after every new). I think 2 should be the max used by any robot(and even then should have two brains to process it)
