Hi everybody. As I was dropped off at school today, I thought about how I can work on some of my Botball programs on the school computer (I can't download the KISS IDE because of the school's protection on the library's chromebooks). So, what I was thinking would be an online KISS IDE programming software where you do not have to download the KISS IDE software to your computer; you can just do it in-browser.

A few additional features that could be added are:
1. Saving the program to your computer or to your flashdrive
2. Runing it on a little simulator
3. Uploading it to the Botball Community website to show everybody what you did :D
4. Still having the Help option
5. And more!

Please respond on whether you think this is a good idea or not. I need your feedback! Also, if you have any other ideas for the features, please respond!

Thank you, and I hope that this can be created! I think this will really help not just me but many other people in working on their programming.

Thanks again!

Doing a simulator in a web browser would be really hard, as web browsers generally don't run C code (yes, I know about ASM.JS... but it would still be really hard).

A quick Google suggests this article: http://www.smashingapps.com/2010/12/07/11-robust-web-based-editors-to-co...

Help option should be easy to make web-based... I'm not sure why KIPR hasn't done this yet.

Thank you for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated. Yes, I am surprised why this hasn't been added and this is why I posted this thread: to raise awareness about this idea. Also, how did you get the link in your post but still not get your post taken away because whenever I try to post a link, it would delete the post.

Thank you again for your feedback! And the link too!

Hmm, if one of your posts gets eaten by the spam filter, find me in the Botballer's Chat and ask me to look at it... I should be able to manually unhide such posts.
