Q: GCER Gameboard construction and Scoring Rule

Hi there!

I'm Johannes Wang from HTL-Donaustadt, the Austrian Botball team, and I'd have a few questions regarding some gamerules and the gametable:

I have added 2 pictures of our robot putting the shuttlecock ontop of the launch pad but it kind of missed. Does that position still count as "breaking the vertical projection" and "either touching the lanchpad or the top booster section"?



I'd also like to ask if the foundation of the launch pad is screwed on the gametable. We are having problems with our robot disassembling the launch pads due to its weight (It starts bending it sidewards and at some point the torque gets too great and the whole launchpad turns 90° and falls towards the gametable burrying our robot).

I volunteered building some of the boards today, so while I do not know about the scoring question, I do know about the construction. The T joints are all pvc cemented together so that the poles can not rotate, and the tallest pole's T joint has been screwed in as well. The pole can move a bit if you hit it hard at the top, but it comes right back as soon as pressure is relieved. The only way a pole seems to be able to deform is if it is pulled straight up REALLY hard. As in much harder than a robot is capable of pulling even if it was able to lift straight up for a few seconds.
