Building up a business entity is not an easy task. it requires a cycle of process including research, financial capacity and more importantly paperwork, which act as an essential part of every company registration process when you are planning to start your own business. Before establishing your business, there is a need to clear and get approved of certain license and permits. These license and permits depends on the type of business you are about to start and the area where you are planning to establish your business. Once you have chosen a name for your business, you will need to check if it's trademarked or currently in use. Then, you will need to register it. A sole proprietor must register their business name with either their state or county clerk.

If you want to be an officially recognized business entity, you should register your company with the government. And for that purpose, the corporations may ask for articles of incorporation document that includes: business name, purpose of business, corporate structure, stock details and other information regarding the company.
After the firm registration, it is important to attain an employer identification number; while this process is not mandatory for the business where no employees are required. Certain forms are to be filled up to move federal and state income tax obligations where the forms depend on specific business structure.
