Our team was noticing a difference in motor speed between two almost identical robots that were using different Links. One Link was on 1.7 and the other was on 1.9. When we reverted the 1.9 Link to 1.7 the arm was lifting noticeably faster. Has anyone experienced this?
My team is seeing the same problem. We had to downgrade back to 1.7 because it wouldn't lift our arm correctly anymore.
I was able to talk to someone at KIPR and they told me that they were running motors at unsafe levels in 1.7 so you might want to be careful.
