We are trying to break up our code into header files. Whenever we compile we get the error Failed to extract KISS ARchive.

We cannot compile any basic c file and header file. For example we have 2 files in the same folder test.c and test.h . I have included the code from the 2 files. These are dummy files we made just to test this issue.

Does anyone know what causes this problem and how to fix it?

----------- test.c ---------------------

  1. // Created on Fri April 12 2013
  2. #include <stdio.h>
  3. #include "test.h"
  4.
  5. int main()
  6. {
  7. printf("Hello, World!, %d\n", BLUE);
  8. return 0;
  9. }

-------------- file test.h ---------------------

  1. // Created on Fri April 12 2013
  2.
  3. // Replace FILE with your file's name
  4. #ifndef _TEST_H_
  5. #define _TEST_H_
  6.
  7. #define BLUE 1
  8.
  9. #endif

Is this code for the Link? If so, are you compiling it from KISS-IDE or from a flash drive on the Link?

We were compiling from the KISS-IDE when this happened.
