Haven't had the time to resolve the linux issues yet. Sorry :( Every time I think I'm going to have time to fix some things, new requirements or projects pop up that need attention.
Thanks.

I've been using KIPR software on linux since 2010 through WINE. It's not native, and I can't speak for all setups, but I've never had a problem using it.
$su- (i dont remember if that gives you full root environment on fedora)
[enter your root passwd]
$yum install wine
[Accept all prompts]
Download the windows version of the IDE and install it normally. You should be able to compile to the simulator. The source KIPR releases for linux use doesnt include the simulator because of licensing restrictions.
Best of luck,

@ryanvade The CBCv2 didn't have many bugs, unless you were doing hacking or other unsupported stuff. We'll see how the Linkv2 fares in 2014.

well, it seems to work on Black Opal. Mostly anyway. Can you tell me how to install the Documentation? From Help --> Documentation?

The source for Linux DOES have the simulator. http://community.botball.org/forum/technical/programming/build-script-linux
Anyway. I no longer use KIPR products. Too many bugs and flaws. I now only use Ardruinos. (Personally anyway. )
