I have a wireless adapter that works on my ubuntu linux machine using ndiswrapper, but ndiswrapper is not on the CBC. Also the make package is also not installed so it is impossible to build the package on the CBC.
ndiswrapper will only work on x86, because thats what windows wireless drivers are compiled for. The CBC is has an ARM9 processor, so it will be unable to run any drivers compiled for a normal computer (x86).
Basically, you need to find one of the few wireless devices with an open source linux driver for it to be cross-compiled to the CBC.

It actually might be an interesting project to install a package manager such as dpkg on the CBC.... project idea!!
