they are great in general! The only complaint I have is that they are thicker so they basically make the number of 1/2 in screws obsolete b/c they can't go through 2 metal pieces and into a nut.

They're very useful, we were able to build a whole robot simply out of metal plates. They are strong and sturdy without taking up too much weight/size/pieces. I can tell the difference from previous years where we did not have the metal pieces, we have a lot more flexibility.
